Our board certified medical team consists of four pediatricians, Philip W. Eppley, II, D.O., Melencio C. Ventura, Jr., M.D., Gail S. Hertz, M.D., I.B.C.L.C. and Renee P. Howard, M.D. Our nurse practitioner, Ann M. Summers, C.R.N.P. has special training to complete well check-ups and to treat a variety of common pediatric illnesses. Please be assured that all of our providers work closely together to provide our patients and parents with quality pediatric care in a “kid friendly” environment.

Our Mission
Work with parents and help them to raise their infants, children, teens and young adults to grow happy, healthy and safely. We sincerely like children and enjoy the work of caring for children.
In our practice, we have a strong commitment to patient and parent education, believing that parenting can be more fun and more effective if you are an informed and prepared parent. We believe that we are here to help you in raising your children. We will provide guidance and advice but will also respect your feelings and your opinions. This commitment to parent/patient education is apparent in our use of educational videos, our patient handouts, and even a website.
This is a developmentally-based practice. We will advise and inform you about what to expect at each age and about what is normal. In that way, we hope to be able to prevent problems. We believe that an informed patient or parent is a valuable ally in our attempt to provide you with the best in health care, but no educational material can replace the direct patient care you receive in our office.
We wish to be a vital part of your child's life, not only as a guardian of your child's health but also as a guide and resource you can count on. The providers, the patient, and their parents should be equally comfortable with your choice since this will be a very long partnership with all members aimed at one goal - the healthy and happy development of your child.
