Mrs. Summers is a native of York, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Pennsylvania State University and her Masters of Science as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at the University of Maryland. She is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the National Association of Pediatric Nurses and Practitioners (NAPNAP) and is a Fellow of NAPNAP.

Mrs. Summers joined the practice in 1992. She lives in York, with her husband and daughter.
